A Smoothie to Increase Your Energy

This morning I needed something to wake me up! Sometimes after a nice weekend of rest you wake up and still want more rest. But alas, that is not always possible. So for those mornings that you need to be up and start feeling alive rather quickly, I have the perfect smoothie recipe for you. This smoothie contains Maca powder which is an excellent way to get that extra pep in your step; not to mention it can help balance your mood as well as keep your skin looking beautiful. This smoothie for energy is not only packed with wonderful vitamins and nutrients, it is also absolutely delicious. I'm talking finger licking good! Smoothie to Increase Your Energy

1 ripe frozen banana

4 frozen strawberries

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 cup hemp milk

1 Tbsp raw almond butter

1 tsp Maca powder

Blend, add more milk if needed, and enjoy!
