Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Oatmeal, cinnamon, banana... oh my! I made this delicious smoothie for the first time today and I was very happy with the outcome. This is the first time I used oatmeal in a smoothie and I have to say, it is awesome! The oatmeal adds a lot of thickness and richness to the smoothie which makes it filling and satisfying. Not to mention oatmeal is packed with awesome nutrients like zinc, manganese, and vitamin B1. Adding a dash of cinnamon made this smoothie taste comforting and it also adds a bit of sweetness. Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

1/3 cup of rolled oats

1 ripe frozen banana

3-5 frozen or fresh strawberries

1 Tbsp raw almond butter

1 tsp cinnamon

1 Tbsp chia seeds

1 cup almond milk

Blend, garnish with a fresh strawberry, and enjoy!
